Soundcheck - An All Music Quiz: 2000s - Today

Pub Quiz Nights continue at Yabangee Base in Cihangir, and on Monday 2 November we're bringing back Soundcheck: An All Music Quiz, this time dedicated to the music of the 2000s through today. From the massive hits that defined the early 2000s to the artists dominating today's charts, viral sensations, unforgettable anthems, and songs that have become part of our collective musical memory, Soundcheck will move through more than 25 years of music across pop, rock, hip-hop, R&B, alternative, indie, dance, electronic, and everything in between. The focus will be largely international, with minimal Turkish music, so expect a soundtrack built around songs and artists heard around the world. This one is less about memorizing music trivia and more about knowing what you're hearing. The majority of the quiz will involve listening to music and identifying songs and artists, alongside a selection of other music-based questions and challenges. The night begins with a social meetup at 19:30, giving everyone time to arrive, grab a drink, meet some people, and settle in. The quiz starts at 20:30 sharp and will wrap up around 21:30–22:00. Guests are welcome to stay afterward and keep hanging out. Stay for the music, the arguments over who sang what, and the inevitable moment when a song you've heard a thousand times starts playing and you realize you have absolutely no idea what it's called. Note: This is a community-first event at heart, created to bring people together in a relaxed and social setting. We've added a minimal ticket fee primarily to encourage stronger RSVPs and to give us a clearer sense of attendance in advance.
