Pub Quiz on Africa: Questions in English & Turkish

Pub Quiz Nights continue at Yabangee Base in Cihangir, and on Wednesday 11 November we're exploring one of the world's most fascinating and diverse continents with a special Africa Trivia Night, hosted by Chidi & Joy. From ancient civilizations and remarkable historical figures to modern music, cinema, sports, and cultural traditions, Africa has an incredible wealth of stories to explore. With 54 internationally recognized countries, thousands of languages, and an extraordinary range of cultures and landscapes, there's plenty to discover beyond what you might already know. Expect questions covering geography, history, pop culture, music, wildlife, food, famous personalities, and much more. We'll be exploring everything from iconic landmarks and major historical events to contemporary African artists, sporting achievements, and unexpected facts. Whether you're already familiar with the continent or hoping to learn something new, expect a varied mix of questions with a few surprises along the way. How well do you really know Africa? Come put your knowledge to the test! The night begins with doors opening at 19:30, giving everyone time to arrive, grab a drink, and settle in. Trivia starts at 20:30 sharp and will wrap up around 21:30–22:00. Guests are welcome to stay afterward and keep hanging out. Whether you're coming with a full team or arriving solo, everyone is welcome. Our pub quizzes are designed to bring people together, and we're always happy to help solo participants find a team. You don't need to be an expert on Africa to enjoy the evening, just bring your curiosity and a willingness to have some fun. Note: This is a community-first event at heart, created to bring people together in a relaxed and social setting. We've added a minimal ticket fee primarily to encourage stronger RSVPs and to give us a clearer sense of attendance in advance. This allows us to plan seating, staffing, and the overall setup more thoughtfully, helping ensure a smoother and more enjoyable night for everyone.
